Oliver was one of many cats rescued from a garbage dump, trying to survive off rotting food discards and waste. Rescued as an adult, it is unknown if he was abandoned there or born amongst the refuse but his absence of any human contact for so long, meant Oliver was very weary of people to start!

It took several months of socialization to unlock the sweet boy hidden under his protective shell but Oliver has blossomed into a loving and playful boy! He is a great example of how life changing time and patience is to a cat who has never known human kindness before.

Oliver thrives around other cats and loves to initiate play with and grooming of his foster mates. He is first to welcome any newbies into the space and is a joy to watch socialize. It is unknown how Oliver would do around a dog as he has never been previously exposed to any.

Oliver likes to approach new people on his own terms but when he does, he gladly welcomes the pets and love. Sudden movements or loud noises may still startle him so to keep Oliver comfortable, he would do best in a quiet adult only home where he can continue to showcase his cuteness and charm to his new trusted family!
