Meet Matcha — a big, beautiful boy with an even bigger heart. This gentle soul has spent nearly his entire life in the shelter, watching other cats come and go, patiently waiting for it to be his turn since 2023.

Matcha is the definition of easygoing. He’s affectionate, calm, and happiest when surrounded by good company — whether that’s a person who loves a quiet cuddle or another mellow cat to share the couch with. He enjoys playtime, too, especially when it means a little one-on-one fun with his favourite people.

Despite spending almost three years in a shelter, Matcha’s spirit has never dimmed. He’s playful, funny, and full of love to give. He gets along well with other cats and would likely do fine with a respectful dog after proper introductions.

Matcha arrived with his brother Romeow, who is also waiting for his forever home. Though they’ve been deeply loved by their shelter family, everyone dreams of the day Matcha finally gets to trade a kennel for a cozy home of his own.
