Gem is a quiet, gentle sweetheart with a shy nature and a soft, loveable heart. She can be a little reserved at first, but she quickly warms up to gentle pets and loves a calm, patient approach. Unlike some shy cats, Gem doesn’t mind being picked up and handled — she just prefers to do things at her own pace. She isn’t an overly affectionate cat right now, but it feels like she could be, once she’s truly settled into a home where she feels safe and loved.

Gem loves cozy spots and mellow afternoons, especially when Inka is nearby. She isn’t much for toys and prefers a peaceful, low-key lifestyle. Gem would thrive in a quiet home without other pets, where she and Inka can enjoy gentle company and plenty of lounging together. As a bonded pair, they will be adopted out together.
