Coco is a calm, soulful boy who’s been waiting a long time for someone to see just how special he is. With his big, beautiful eyes and peaceful spirit, he’s the kind of cat who brings quiet comfort just by being near you.

This handsome guy is a bit of an old soul — affectionate and loving, but happiest in a calm, steady environment. Coco enjoys the company of other cats and would do well in a quiet home with at least one feline friend. With proper introductions, he could also coexist nicely with a respectful dog. He’s even lived with children before and did beautifully, showing his gentle and patient nature.

Before joining SOS Prairie Rescue, Coco spent an incredible 1,027 days — nearly three years — in shelter care, waiting for his person to come along. Loved deeply by his shelter family since he was just a kitten, everyone dreams of seeing Coco finally find his forever home.
