Meet Gambino — the Trailer Park Tom With a Heart of Gold

Gambino spent his early life as a tough, street-smart tom in a trailer park… but beneath that rugged exterior is one of the sweetest, softest souls you’ll ever meet. What he wants now is simple: a cozy retirement filled with soft food, warm laps, and all the cuddles his big heart can hold.

Despite being FIV-positive, Gambino lives peacefully in a foster home full of cats — he never picks fights and gets along with everyone. For the past year, he’s been lovingly cared for by a 2-year-old girl who absolutely adores him, and the feeling is mutual. He lets her help with his medication and happily soaks up all the gentle attention she offers.

Gambino has already had most of his teeth removed due to infection, and he’ll have one more dental completed through the rescue before heading to his forever home. He is also on an oral diabetic medication (about $150/month) and a blood pressure pill, and he’s been wonderfully stable on them for months.

Through everything, this boy has remained patient, affectionate, and full of love. He deserves the world — and he’s ready to give his whole heart to the family lucky enough to bring him home.
