Dani (short for Daenerys) has had quite the journey and is ready for her true forever home.

Originally trapped during a TNRM project in Davin, SK back in 2021, Dani was adopted in 2022 and adored by her family. Sadly, when they lost their housing in 2024, she returned to SOS through no fault of her own.

Since coming back into care, Dani has had a dental procedure that made a world of difference for her comfort and health. She now prefers canned food and has blossomed into an affectionate, snuggly little cat who loves to burrow under blankets and stay close to her people.

Dani has a calm, gentle nature and does best in low to moderately active homes. She has lived with both cats and dogs and tends to gravitate toward calmer companions rather than high-energy pets. She’s also been around children and does well with respectful, quieter kids.

One of Dani’s favorite surprises? She loves going camping with her foster family! She’s proven to be an adventurous little soul who enjoys new experiences when she feels safe and secure.

Because of sensitivities to smoke and air quality, Dani uses an inhaler during flare-ups, but she handles it well and otherwise lives a happy, healthy life.
