If you were wondering whether her name was inspired by Taylor Swift’s newest masterpiece, you’d be absolutely right. Ophelia is one of the precious souls from our large intake on Monday, and she’s already proving that even rescue life can be her reputation era.

Her intake name was “Stumpy” ( we know…), but that simply wouldn’t do for a girl who embodies grace, charm, and main-character energy. So — Ophelia it is. Freshly spayed, vetted, and feeling fine, this little princess is soaking up every ounce of love and rotisserie chicken her foster mama can offer. She’s purring, playing, and proving that even after a rough start, she was born for this era.

We’re grateful that this beauty isn’t facing any major health challenges — just a bit of recovery, cuddles, and, of course, chicken therapy. She’ll need to complete her quarantine period, but if her sweet face already has you humming “My heart, my hips, my body, my love…” then consider this your sign.
