Welcome to the Ugly Pet Portraits Fundraiser, hosted by SOS Prairie Rescue in collaboration with The Art Room Ink! Our unique event combines a love for animals with the joy of creation, all for a great cause.

For a donation of $25, our team of budding artists—comprised of volunteers who are passionate about pets but might be amateur painters—will create a one-of-a-kind portrait of your beloved pet. Whether they capture your pet’s elegance or their goofy side, each portrait is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Have more than one pet? We can include them all in a single portrait for just an additional $5.00.

These memorable, and perhaps hilariously heartwarming, portraits will be mailed directly to you, serving as a perfect gift or a special keepsake for your home. And the best part? Your contribution supports our lifesaving mission, helping us continue our work with animals in need.

Interested in trying your hand as an artist? Join us this May at The Art Room Ink. We’re calling all community members—teachers, students, and local artists—to volunteer. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to have fun and help out a great cause. Supplies will be provided, so come ready to paint and be part of something special.
