Duke is such a sweet, cuddly, beautiful soul who definitely "needs a minute" when you first meet him. Duke is completely black with beautiful eyes and is 1.5 years old. He is quite shy and anxious with humans for the first week or two, but will come out of his shell a bit faster if other cats are around.

Duke loves making friends with his fellow roommates, and is quite playful but not aggressive at all. He loves being pet/scratched, chasing toys, scratching posts, some treats (he is not food motivated), and curling up in dark and warm spaces (boxes, behind/under beds, under couches). He can be a bit skittish, but if you sit on the floor with him, he will ask for pets and cuddles for hours. He is definitely a wonderful and gentle young cat.
