Tangelo is an affectionate, playful boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

He originally came to SOS in early 2024 as part of a family rescued just after Christmas. While he was adopted quickly, he was returned in spring 2025 through no fault of his own. Tangelo had been an energetic, growing kitten without another cat companion to play with, and the resident dog wasn’t interested in his rough-and-tumble style.

Since coming back to SOS, Tangelo has blossomed in his foster home. He’s very affectionate, often rolling on the floor for attention and giving lots of kisses. He’s also a fantastic big brother to his foster siblings, proving he loves the company of other playful cats and even confident, cat-friendly dogs.

Tangelo has a lively, curious personality and thrives on activity. He plays hard, wrestles with any willing furry friend, and enjoys exploring the outdoors safely on his harness or cruising in his pet stroller. While he can be a little grumbly with change at first, he quickly adjusts and settles into a routine.

He would do best in a home with another playful pet to match his energy level or an adopter willing to keep him entertained with plenty of enrichment and interactive play.
