While he isn’t ready for touch just yet, Steel pushes his comfort zone a little more every day. He watches, listens, and shows genuine interest in the humans around him, even if that final wall of fear hasn’t quite come down. His instincts from surviving outdoors still linger, but with patience and consistency, his trust continues to grow.

With other cats, Steel is a completely different kitten. He’s social, playful, and full of life — always ready for a game of wrestling or chase. Even while hiding a large abscess in his abdomen, his playful spirit never dimmed, a true testament to his resilience and gentle nature.
