Hello! My name is Mittens, and I’m a two year old female looking for a forever home. I’ve been living in a shelter for two years now, and I’m wondering why no one wants to take me home. I’m very affectionate and just want all the love. I recently had hernia surgery, but I’m all healed up now, and my hair is almost completely grown back!

I live with older kids at my foster family, and I get along well with them. Sometimes, they pick me up or pat my surgery site, which is still tender, but I just move to make myself more comfortable. I love to purr and nuzzle whenever I get the chance. I’m already showing my belly and doing biscuits. I love human companionship.

I’m waiting for my vet checks and vaccines, and then I’ll get to meet my friends on the other side of the door! We’ve been meowing back and forth, and I can’t wait to play with them. I would do best in a home that has time to snuggle and cuddle me on my terms. I don’t talk much except to say hello and when I’m hungry! Please take me home. My whole life has been in shelter care, and this house life is pretty cool!
